As evidenced by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier’s remarks, the facility’s natural deterrents—alligators and pythons—serve as an effective backup to ensure no escape is even attempted. “People get out, there’s not much waiting for them other than alligators and pythons. Nowhere to go, nowhere to hide,” he declared. This pragmatic approach is exactly what our nation needs to restore order.

Indeed, while the left may decry the facility as a symbol of cruelty, the truth is clear: America simply cannot afford open borders any longer. The Trump administration’s decisive actions on immigration have led to historic declines in illegal crossings, and facilities like Alligator Alcatraz are at the forefront of this success.
