In a time when liberal media outlets are eager to downplay the truth and suppress the heroic actions of law-abiding, armed citizens, a violent attack at Crosspointe Community Church has exposed the glaring bias in today’s news coverage.

In a shocking act of violence, an active shooter rammed his truck into Crosspointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, during Sunday morning service before opening fire. Thanks to the swift actions of an armed security guard and a brave deacon, the attacker—identified as a 31-year-old man—was stopped before he could carry out further bloodshed. While the liberal media scrambles to downplay the incident and ignore the heroism of armed citizens, the truth remains clear: good guys with guns save lives.

According to reports, the suspect was on his way to the church when a deacon attempted to block him with a truck. The deranged assailant responded by firing at the vehicle, prompting the church’s security guard to engage. The deacon’s quick thinking allowed the guard to neutralize the threat, ending the rampage before more innocent lives were lost.

Wayne Police confirmed the heroic outcome in a Facebook post:

“The Wayne Police Department responded to an active shooter at Crosspointe Church in Wayne this morning. Upon arrival, officers determined that a security guard for the church shot and killed the suspect. One victim was shot in the leg. Please avoid the area. Officers are still actively investigating.”

The liberal media has a disturbing habit of ignoring the courageous acts that protect our communities. Instead of celebrating the brave deacon who tried to thwart an attacker, they prefer to focus on trivial injuries while conveniently omitting the life-saving intervention by an armed security guard. This selective reporting is a clear example of how the left’s anti-gun, anti-religion agenda distorts the truth.

WXYZ’s report was notably tepid:

“At least one person was injured in a shooting at a Wayne church on Sunday morning, police and sources tell 7 News Detroit. The suspected shooter was reportedly killed by a security guard. We’re told the shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. at Crosspointe Community Church, shortly after the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service started.”

No mention of the failed attempt by a deacon to stop the killer. No praise for the armed guard who put an end to the violence. Just the bare minimum—because the narrative doesn’t fit the left’s anti-gun, anti-religion agenda.
