Angry Republican Outraged Over New Orleans Jail Escape: Security Scandal Uncovered

Fellow patriots, it’s time to call out the incompetence that’s running rampant in our justice system. In a day that will go down in infamy for New Orleans, ten inmates pulled off a daring escape that not only embarrasses local officials but also demonstrates a shocking lack of accountability and security. If you thought our government was focused on protecting law-abiding Americans, think again—this debacle is a stark reminder of how mismanagement is putting our communities at risk.

As we, the Angry Republicans, demand answers from those in charge, let’s take a closer look at the details of this disgraceful incident. Below is the full breakdown of what went wrong, straight from the sources.

In a daring overnight escape, ten inmates broke out of the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans early Friday morning. The escapees, several facing serious charges including murder, managed to flee through a hole behind a toilet in their cell, prompting a massive manhunt and raising serious questions about the facility’s security measures.WPLG+4@EconomicTimes+49News+4The US Sun

The Escape

According to authorities, the inmates began their escape around 1:00 a.m. by removing a toilet from the wall, revealing a hole that led to a maintenance area. They then navigated through the facility, exited via a loading dock, and scaled the perimeter wall using blankets to avoid barbed wire.

The escape went unnoticed until a routine headcount at 8:30 a.m., more than seven hours later. At the time of the escape, the only guard assigned to the cell pod had reportedly left to get food, leaving the area unmonitored.

Manhunt and Recaptures

As of Saturday morning, three of the ten escapees have been recaptured:

  • Kendell Myles, found hiding under a car in a hotel parking garage in the French Quarter.

  • Robert Moody, apprehended in New Orleans following a tip to Crimestoppers.

  • Dkenan Dennis, captured near Chef Menteur Highway.

Seven inmates remain at large and are considered armed and dangerous. Authorities have released their names and photographs to the public and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Investigation and Security Concerns

Sheriff Susan Hutson stated that the escape was facilitated by “defective locks” and possibly assistance from individuals inside the department. Three employees have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

The Orleans Justice Center has been under federal monitoring for over a decade due to ongoing security issues and has been operating with only 60% of its required staff. Officials have long complained about the facility’s deteriorating infrastructure, including faulty locks and inadequate security measures.

Public Safety Measures

In response to the escape, law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels have launched a coordinated manhunt. The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of any of the escaped inmates.

Authorities have also taken steps to protect individuals who may be at risk, including relocating some victims and witnesses connected to the escapees’ cases.

Final Thoughts

This incident has highlighted significant lapses in security and oversight at the Orleans Justice Center. As the manhunt continues, officials are under pressure to address the systemic issues that allowed this escape to occur and to ensure the safety of the public.

Now, if you’re as outraged as we are, you’ll agree it’s time for a serious overhaul of the system. How can a facility that should be safeguarding our communities allow such blatant security lapses? Our officials have clearly been sleeping on the job, leaving us with a dangerous manhunt and countless unanswered questions. This is not just a failure of a few locks—this is a failure of our system, and as true conservatives, we refuse to stand idly by while our communities are put at risk.

It’s high time our law enforcement agencies, as well as local and federal governments, put aside partisan bickering and focus on getting results. The American people deserve transparency, accountability, and above all, real security. We must demand that those responsible for these oversights are held fully accountable and that long-overdue reforms are put into action immediately.

Stay tuned for more updates on this unfolding drama—because when security and accountability are on the line, we won’t be silenced.
