Kamala’s Husband Throws Biden Under the Bus Claims She Is Innocent of Joe’s Disasters

In a political landscape brimming with tension, the simmering resentments within the Democratic Party may soon erupt into open conflict. Prominent Democrats continue to humiliate President Joe Biden, potentially hastening this boiling point. One recent example is an interview with Doug Emhoff, Vice President Kamala Harris’s husband, conducted by Michael Strahan of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” The interview, which took place at a diner in Emhoff’s hometown of Matawan, New Jersey, was filled with attempts to distance Harris from Biden’s catastrophic record.

Strahan, a former NFL Hall of Famer turned broadcaster, didn’t press Emhoff too hard on the issues. When asked how Harris might differ from Biden as president, Emhoff initially seemed to emphasize continuity. He promised that Harris would “continue and expand” Biden’s policies on infrastructure and added some generic comments about housing and small businesses. Strahan followed up with a question framed to paint Harris in a positive light: “So, for those who may criticize [Harris] and say ‘Well, she hasn’t done that [in] her three-and-a-half years in office as vice president.’ Do you think that’s unfair?”

Emhoff responded, “Yeah, she’s the vice president, not the president. The vice president is there as part of the administration, not leading the administration. So, as president she’s gonna be able to put forth her policies and plans and effectuate those.” Essentially, according to Emhoff, Harris will continue Biden’s policies but bears no blame for his failures—a classic case of Democrat double-speak.

Despite Emhoff’s efforts, he cannot distance Harris from Biden’s record. On a deeper level, lingering resentment within the party remains palpable. During a recent presidential debate, former President Donald Trump made an eye-opening comment about how much Biden “hates” Harris.

For all his faults, who could blame Biden? An internal coup orchestrated by party elites pressured him to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, elevating Harris to the top of the ticket. Reports suggest this coup left Biden feeling bitter towards those responsible, including former President Barack Obama.

Last month, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared irritated at suggestions that Harris would distance herself from Biden. Even Biden himself had a similar reaction when questioned about it.

Curiosity arose last week when Biden donned a red “Trump” hat in front of firefighters in Pennsylvania. While almost certainly meant as a joke, it came across as one of his rare good-hearted moments.

Still, the ill treatment of Biden by the Harris camp—even in fluff interviews—adds a complex subtext to the 2024 election. This story may have several more chapters before reaching its conclusion.
